Capitol Hill Lobby Days - June 26, 28, 2001

The American Nurses Association Department of Government Affairs will be conducting two lobby days on Capitol Hill in June during our annual meetings in Washington, DC., June 26th and 28th, 2001. Each day will begin with a two hour workshop on lobbying techniques and a comprehensive legislative update. ANA will provide training on the legislative process and effective communication strategies that you can use to advance nursing's public policy agenda. The afternoon will be devoted to meetings with your Representative and Senators. This will be an exciting opportunity to establish a relationship with your Member of Congress and to earn six CE credits .

To arrange your appointment(s), call the Capitol switchboard at 202-224-3121 and ask to speak with the scheduler for you Member of Congress. Once you have made your appointment, let us know who you are meeting with.

The is no cost for this workshop, but for those wishing to obtain CEs, who are not delegates to either the UAN or the HOD, and are CMA members, the cost for CEs is $20.
