Handle with Care ANA Co-Hosts Briefing on Safe Patient Handling and Movement

 

In conjunction with National Nurses Week, the House Nursing Caucus and the American Nurses Association (ANA) sponsored a luncheon briefing on Monday, May 8th for congressional health staff to highlight the importance of safe patient handling and movement. Rose Gonzalez, MPS, RN, Director of ANA’s Department of Government Affairs moderated the briefing, which featured a panel of expert speakers including:
