Give Blood - We Do
In 2001, the American Nurses Association staff organized and sponsored a Red Cross Bloodmobile at the headquarters office on August 15th and December 6th. Although not everyone who wished to donate blood could pass the stringent eligibility criteria, many of these individuals volunteered by manning the sign-in desk and canteen areas.The December bloodmobile donors included many individuals who were not ANA employees, some indicating that they greatly valued the convenient location and easy scheduling process, making ANA their preferred donation site.
