ANA Partners With Monster.com to Enhance Nursing CareersWashington, DC -- The ANA has partnered with Monster.com, the leading global online careers property, to increase employment opportunities for registered nurses by creating one-stop access to health care employers nationwide. Through the alliance, Monster.com will be the career content provider for the ANA and its Web site, Nursingworld.org. Visitors to the site will be able to access Monster's global database of health care and nursing jobs, build a resume using Monster's resume builder, create a job search agent, as well as research expert-driven articles on tips and advice on how best to manage a career in nursing and health care. "This new partnership now links employment information to nursing's number one Web site," ANA President Barbara Blakeney, MSN, APRN,BC, ANP, said. "Our goal is to provide accessible tools to nurses seeking to enhance their employment options." Monster calls the partnership a unique way to address recruitment challenges in health care. "The relationship with the ANA affords Monster a valuable opportunity to reach the top talent of the nursing industry, enabling us to help health care professionals manage their careers, while also providing employers a cost-effective way to attract much-needed talent," said Steve Pogorzelski, Monster's president, North America. Monster will also leverage trade show opportunities and its student-focused divisions to work with the ANA to generate awareness about nursing careers.
