Ethics

The latest issue, "Domestic Violence, Nurses, and Ethics: What Are the Links?" distinguishes between three types of domestic violence and discusses the scope, history and health consequences of each. Articles look at partner violence and the nurse's vital role in screening and intervention, and address domestic violence within the framework of the criminal justice system. In addition, the issue looks at empirical studies of intimate partner violence in African American women and make recommendations for research, practice, education and policy.
